Chef Anthony Notaro

Chef Notaro has been in the Cincinnati culinary landscape for some time now. Not all of the time, but at least some of the time and more than less of the time. In the some of the time, Notaro has cooked food for humans. And also for not humans. But mostly for humans.

His grandparents emigrated from Cortale, a small town in Southern Italy, during the 1950’s. His grandmother, Isabella Notaro, kept many of their culinary traditions alive, passing down her recipes and techniques every Sunday as they cooked dinner for the family. To confirm, Notaro is definitely still a grandma’s boy. He is Italian enough to know how to make food that’s pretty Italian, but he’s also enough “not Italian” that he’s ok being sacrilegious with their ingredients.

He was inspired to create Mad Anthony’s pizza based on one of Matty Matheson’s neck tattoos. Culinarily, he is still chasing the high of his first Happy Meal. It had a Land Before Time toy of Spike and was pretty cool.

Chef Tim Beard

Chef Tim, is all about the atmosphere. all about the culture.. he lives to create the vibe! He’s a product of high speed and fast paced kitchens, but loves to slow down and smell the “roses!” It’s been a long strange trip, but when his brothers from other mothers asked if he like pizza… he said, “come on now..”

Chef Tim is always searching for two things for sure, next best slice and a good time!
